In-Service Apparatus

1985 GMC/4 Guys Tanker 
Purchase new from 4 Guys Fire Apparatus in Myersdale Pennsylvania.  Features Detroit Diesel with Allison Automatic transmission.  1500 Gallon water tank with quick dumps on both sides and rear.
1991 Spartan/3-D Engine

Custom designed by the membership and built by 3D Apparatus in Shawano Michigan.  The apparatus is mounted on a Spartan Gladiator chassis with a 350HP Cummins diesel and Allison Automatic and a totally enclosed cab for 5 firefighters plus the driver.  It has a 1500GPM Hale Pump with top mount controls and a 1000 gallon water tank.  Many features were custom designed into the apparatus to meet the first due engine needs of the department.  This includes 4 pre-connected hand lines, a rear suction with a independent priming system capable of flowing full pump flow, generator with tower lights and cord reel.  The apparatus carries 24 and 36 foot extension ladders.

1997 Pierce Resuce Pumper

Custom Built by Pierce Manufacturing in Appleton Wisconsin on a Peirce Saber Chassis.  Features a 320HP Detroit Diesel with Allison Automatic transmission.  It has a 1250GPM Waterous pump with side mount controls.  Equipped as a second due engine and also a rescue pumper for motor vehicle accident response.

1997 Cherolet Tahoe Light Rescue

Light rescue for first response EMS calls.  Certified and equipment for Advance Life Support care 

2004 Ford/E-One Utility/Brush

Refurbished by Jerome Fire Apparatus in 2004.  Body from 1982 light rescue transferred to new chassis.  Conventional doors replaced with roll-up doors.  Added Hale 500GPM Portable Pump with 250 gallon water tank.  Apparatus set up for response to fires in locations not accusable by class A pumpers.

Antique Apparatus

1956 Ford/Sanford Pumper

This was the first new apparatus purchased.  It has a 750 GPM Pump and a 500 gallon tank.  It was the front line pumper from 1956 through 1981.  This apparatus is currently used for Parades and other celebrations.


 

Retired Apparatus

1928 American LaFrance Pumper

Purchased used from the fire department on Long Island this was the primary apparatus from the formation of the department in 1948 until the purchase of the first new pumper in 1956.  It a 1000GPM gear pump and 100 gallon tank.

1937 Chevrolet Tanker

The department purchased a 500 gallon tank from a individual in Oswego to construct their first tanker.  The owner gave the department the chassis to go with the tank.  This was one of the first tankers in the county.

Mack Tanker

The tank from the 1937 tanker was transferred to a Mack chassis.

1961 Chevrolet/Sanford Pumper

Purchased new from Sanford Fire Apparatus in East Syracuse to replace the Mack Tanker and equip the department with a second pumper.  It had a 750GPM Hale Pump and a 1000Gallon water tank.  Was the second line pumper form the time it was purchased until 1991.  At that time the 1981 Ford Pumper was transferred to the second line pumper.

This apparatus was built by the membership using the body from teh original American Lafrance pumper
1969 GMC Utility

This apparatus was built by the membership using the body from the original American Lafrance pumper

1981 Ford/Contenental/4-Guys Pumper
Designed by the membership and built by Continental Fire Trucks from Massachusetts.  This apparatus had many features that were state of the are at the time of purchase.  This was also the first apparatus to include seating for all responding firefighter eliminating the need to ride on the tailboard.  Many of the features of this apparatus were integrated into the 1991 pumper
1982 Chevrolet/E-One Light Rescue

This light duty rescue was purchased new from Emergency One of Ocala Florida.  The body was later transferred to a new Ford chassis in 2004.

1989 GMC/Horton Medium Duty Rescue
This was a heavy duty ambulance purchased from Moyers corners and converted into a medium duty rescue.
